Meet The Team

Janice Lee, Network Consultant

Janice Lee is a writer, artist, editor, curator, and designer. Understanding the importance of web presence in today’s increasingly digital society, she works with both individuals and organizations in optimizing their digital presence and developing their social media strategies. When designing websites, she believes in the powerful combination of functionality and aesthetic appeal, with several years of both print and web design experience. She has managed social media development and designed/developed websites for various individual artists and writers, nonprofit organizations, arts institutions, museums and educational institutions.

Her literary work can be found in several journals nationally, and she is the author of two novels: KEROTAKIS (Dog Horn Press, 2010) and Daughter (Jaded Ibis, 2011). She holds a BA in Literature/Writing (with minors in Biological Anthropology & Film Studies) from UCSD and an MFA in Creative Writing/Critical Studies from CalArts. She is also co-editor of the online journal [out of nothing] and co-founder of the interdisciplinary arts organization Strophe and has previously worked as the Associate Editor of Les Figues Press. She has presented scholarly papers on topics such as consciousness studies, psychology, theoretical neuroscience, and experimental narrative at various conferences internationally. She currently teaches Graphic Texts in the Critical Studies program at CalArts.
